IFD spent all last summer fundraising and we raised enough to get started on the Story Tour but not enough to finish. We’re having fundraisers along the way to keep gas in the tank but we have two major obstacles in our way: Alaska and Hawaii. Since driving to Alaska doesn’t work logistically and since The Barn can’t swim, we need to fly to both. If anyone works in the airline industry and can get us some vouchers or has a whole lot of extra miles they can donate to IFD, please let us know. Just the thought of a 48-state Story Tour breaks my heart. LGBT youth in AK and HI need to know they’re not alone either.
If you don’t work in the airline industry but still want to help, please donate what you can. The Barn is having problems and is currently in the shop, so any little bit you can throw our way will keep us on the road.

Enjoyed talking with you guys at the visitor center on Wednesday evening. I was thinking afterwards that I had a $5.00 in my wallet that I could have donated to you, it never even occurred to me. Wish I had. I’m not likely to get to Mad Myrna’s, I don’t go out too much, but I want to say that although I am not gay it was a pleasure to meet you guys & I support in spirit what you are doing. I really enjoyed your visit & hope you have many positive experiences while you are on this adventure. I see you bringing encouragement to many young kids, & bringing people of all kinds together.
