Bisexual Ponders Fatherhood in Conservative Town – Video Story.

Henry Elliot is bisexual and wants to have a child. He has a male partner, though, and lives in the conservative town of Alamogordo, New Mexico.

“There is a church on every street corner, practically. They are not open to gay, lesbian, GLBT lifestyle. We’ve had the thrift store here for just about six years. Several people just don’t come in here due to the fact it is run by a gay couple. But we have to live with that. It’s a touch situation, but what else do we do?”

After searching for the right surrogate, he’s finally found one and wonders what life will be like as a busy dad. Continue Reading to watch Henry’s story.

I live here in Alamogordo, NM and I know where your shop is. You are completely right about our town’s attitude but I am so glad you don’t let that stop you. There are a lot of us “family” members in this town whether they like it or not! *L* I see that this video is from May 2012 so a late congrats on finding a surrogate and I hope it turned out well for you and your family. I heard your store moved recently so I will have to come by sometime! It was great seeing your story and seeing the name of our little un-heard of town on this website!
